A visit to Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, Phuket’s most ethical elephant sanctuary, offers a truly unforgettable opportunity to connect with these magnificent creatures in their safe and natural home.
Guided by our experienced English-speaking hosts, you will discover the unique personalities and life stories of each elephant. Alongside our caring mahouts (elephant caretakers), you will share memorable experiences such as bathing elephants in Phuket’s tropical waters or feeding them gently with your own hands.

Half-Day Program Itinerary
The Half-Day Package allows guests to spend precious time with the elephants in their natural habitat, while learning about their history and behavior. It is an experience that leaves you with memories to last a lifetime.
Morning Session (06:30 – 12:30) or Afternoon Session (11:30 – 17:30):
- 06:30 / 11:30–12:30 – Pick up from your hotel in Phuket
- 07:30 / 12:30 – Scenic drive to Naithon Beach area, passing hills, jungle, and local farmland with breathtaking coastal views
- 08:00 / 13:00 – Arrival at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket, enjoy snacks and tea/coffee, program briefing
- 08:15 / 13:15 – Help prepare natural dietary supplements for the elephants
- 08:30 / 13:30 – Meet the elephants, feed them, hear their stories, take photos in a natural setting
- 09:00 / 14:00 – Enjoy a mud spa with the elephants
- 09:30 / 14:30 – Swim with the elephants
- 10:00 / 15:00 – Shower the elephants at the specially designed outdoor “Elephant Shower”
- 10:20 / 15:20 – Wash up and change clothes
- 10:30 / 15:30 – Enjoy a Thai meal (Pad Thai & seasonal fruits) and bid farewell to the elephants
- 11:00 / 16:00 – Depart the sanctuary, scenic drive back
- 12:30 / 17:00–17:30 – Arrive at your hotel
Full-Day Program: Walk with the Elephants
The Walk with the Elephants Program gives you the rare chance to experience the elephants’ daily life in their natural environment. Walk through the forest alongside rescued elephants and learn their stories as you bond with them throughout the day.
Itinerary:
- 06:30 – Hotel pickup in Phuket
- 07:30 – Scenic journey to Naithon Beach area
- 08:00 – Arrival, snacks & program introduction
- 08:15 – Walk in the forest with the elephants, learning about their lives
- 11:00 – Traditional Thai lunch
- 13:15 – Prepare natural dietary supplements
- 13:30 – Meet, play with, photograph, and feed the elephants
- 14:00 – Mud spa with the elephants
- 14:30 – Swim with the elephants
- 15:00 – Shower the elephants at the “Elephant Shower”
- 15:20 – Wash and change clothes
- 15:30 – Thai meal (Pad Thai & fruit), farewell to the elephants
- 16:00 – Depart sanctuary
- 17:30 – Arrive back at your hotel
Feed Me Program (30 minutes – 1 hour)
Perfect for visitors short on time, the Feed Me Program offers an intimate and ethical encounter with elephants, including a unique activity of making elephant dung paper.
